Top 10 Happiest States Based on Online Reviews

Late last year, we gathered some data across several Google+ Local business pages to find out which top 10 states were the happiest relative to the online reviews of local businesses in each state. These were the results:

1. Hawaii

2. Maine

3. Vermont

4. Idaho

5. Massachusetts

6. Oregon

7. California

8. Utah

9. New Hampshire

10. Washington

These were the top 10 states bases on online reviews. We also noticed that there was an increase in 1-star reviews beginning in August of last year, possibly due to the growing ubiquity of mobile reviewing capabilities on smartphones.
